My name is Sam Hensen. I am 25 years old and have been in and around the opal industry for the last 12 Years. Throughout this time I have spent time buying and selling opal, working with opal dealers, rubbing and cutting opal and of course mining!
My father has been in the mining industry most of his working life, and still continues to mine in the Grawin area of lightning Ridge. My Dad also has a website Black Opal Bargains On this website there is a huge selection of solid Opals and carvings. There is also a lot of information about the lightning Ridge area and the culture or lifestyle it has to offer.
I have recently decided to start making silver jewellery with my father's stock. I decided to create this Website to display and sell my jewellery.
